2.1 Authentication Data (Chrome Extension)
Our Chrome extension collects and stores the following data from barbora.lt:
- Authentication Cookie (.BRBAUTH): Your Barbora.lt session authentication token
- Cloudflare Clearance Cookie (cf_clearance): Used for Cloudflare security verification
- Cookie Metadata: Domain, expiration date, extraction timestamp, and security flags
How this data is handled:
- Authentication cookies are encrypted using AES-GCM 256-bit encryption before storage
- Data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's
chrome.storage.localAPI - The encryption key is generated uniquely for your browser installation and stored locally
- Cookie data is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties
2.2 Recipe Text (Website)
When you use the YUM.INK website:
- Recipe Ingredients: Text you paste into the input field is sent to our servers for processing
- This text is processed by AI to identify ingredients and match them with Barbora.lt products
- Recipe text is not stored permanently and is only used for the duration of your session
2.3 Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect personal identification information (name, email, address)
- We do not track your browsing history
- We do not use analytics or tracking cookies on yum.ink
- We do not store your Barbora.lt account credentials (username/password)
- We do not have access to your Barbora.lt order history or personal account details
3. How We Use Your Information
3.1 Authentication Data
Your Barbora.lt authentication cookie is used solely to:
- Add products to your Barbora.lt shopping cart on your behalf
- Verify that you have an active Barbora.lt session
3.2 Recipe Text
Your recipe text is processed to:
- Parse and identify food ingredients
- Translate ingredient names to Lithuanian for Barbora.lt product search
- Calculate appropriate quantities based on recipe requirements
- Match ingredients with available Barbora.lt products
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage (Chrome Extension)
- All authentication data is stored locally on your device
- Cookie values are encrypted using AES-GCM with a 256-bit key
- Encryption keys are generated using the Web Crypto API and stored in Chrome's secure storage
- Data remains on your device and is never uploaded to external servers
4.2 Website Data Processing
- Recipe text is processed in real-time and not permanently stored
- Product searches are performed through Barbora.lt's public search API
- Cart additions are executed directly through Barbora.lt's API using your authentication
4.3 Data Retention
- Chrome Extension: Authentication data is stored until you manually clear it, uninstall the extension, or the cookie expires
- Website: Recipe text is not retained after your session ends
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. Your data may be shared only in the following circumstances:
5.1 Third-Party Services
- Barbora.lt: Your authentication cookie is used to interact with Barbora.lt's API to add items to your cart
- OpenAI: Recipe text is processed using OpenAI's API for ingredient parsing (subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy)
- Constructor.io: Product searches use Barbora.lt's search infrastructure powered by Constructor.io
5.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.

Our Chrome extension requires the following permissions:
